Specifically, much of what slows down people with certain disabilities is the fact that they work a little more slowly. The consequence is that they often get kicked out of online work sessions, due to the way network administrators set time limits. If there could be some sort of toggle approved for those with bona-fide disabilities, they would be more productive simply because they wouldn't spend so much time logging back on after getting kicked out from a work screen. I know I am preaching to the choir here, but the problem is not that they can't do the work -- they just can't do it as fast, having to work through assistive technology. And the problem is aggravated through the time-out sessions. It's a small step that would make a huge difference.
