There should be a college that accepts a child's "diploma" without it being costly for the parent(s) and or the child wanting to further his/her education. Part-time Seasonal Employment

Retail jobs are often those that are the most flexible and the most available to my two young adults with autism. After a year working in a big box store, my daughter with autism found that she could not tolerate the stress of Thanksgiving, Black Friday, or holiday sales. Screening Applications

Extensive, online psychological assessments tend to screen out many applicants with autism or developmental disabilties who can't read between the lines to understand what a question is really asking. I would love to see a full ban on these types of screening tools. STEM Camps

We held 2 STEM camps in different parts of the state over the past summer and plan to do it again. The camps included career exploration information with guest speakers in STEM areas, utilizing a Think Through Math program and working with a technology program to build and race cars, computer design and print t-shirts/buttons.
